Returned Students

Returning to Concordia after studying away can be a bitter sweet experience for many students.  It's not uncommon to experience reverse culture shock or reverse home sickness.  The greatest advice on how to reintegrate back into life in the US is the same as going away.  Be active and engaged with the local people and surroundings.

Some ways to become engaged would be to take part in Global Learning sponsored events like the Returnee Dinner or helping promote your program to other prospective students.  There any many opportunities to do this throughout the year.  The Global Learning Expo, interest meetings, or being active in welcoming international students to Concordia are a few examples.  Get in touch with your Program Coordinator if you are interested in these or other opportunities.
